Jewish General Hospital
Endocrinology and Gastroenterology Clinics, Montreal, 2010
With the acquisition of a large cut of land north of the site and the anticipated growth of the hospital, the planning of a new pavilion dedicated to critical care was initiated, including emergency unit, operating block, critical care unit, medical imaging, neonatology, obstetric, medical and surgical units. The Master Plan assessed construction possibilities and the Development Plan adapted municipal regulations to the planning of the emergency care, operating block and other care units to present a response adequate to the needs. Later, a pre-concept design specifying the phasing was developed and presented to the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services and the Agence de la Santé et des Services sociaux de Montréal.
