Hospital of LaSalle

Renovation of the Emergency Unit and Extension , CSSS Verdun Lachine LaSalle, In progress

The LaSalle Hospital was in need of a larger emergency unit reception area. The size of the new spaces required major transformations, including the extension of the main entrance and the relocation of external clinics, outpatient care and administrative management. The result: a 30,000 m² extension and a 2,585 m² renovation. The project is consistent with its master plan by consideration of proximity and access and circulation hierarchy. Characterised by the use of glass, aluminum and steel, the main façade offers great transparency in the public zones, contrasting with the more opaque existing building.
