Nelson Residence

Montreal, 2005

This transformation allowed a nearly centennial-old Outremont home to adapt to contemporary lifestyles. The project consisted of completely restructuring the first floor and orchestrate scenarios specific to a lively couple working from home, creating work individual work stations while preserving the intimate sense of home.

She, a naturopath; him, a director: the plan is split into two parallel bands. She on the left, he on the right: the two sequences following the same progression through to the private spaces, the mater bedroom and the washroom. The play with textures is highlighted by the contrast between the oak, the zebrano and the cream surfaces.
