For a specialist in printing and scanning, moving equipment involves heavy expenses. Consequently, the development of the vast premises had to respect a rather limited budget. The design strategy would be to keep space open to encourage group dynamics and maximize of the natural light qualities of the loft, all the while responding to the constraints of workplaces for image processing, often sensitive to light. Small walls of varying heights create distinct zones, at times work spaces, at other times private exhibition rooms, responding to the different needs of the clientele. In this manner, the new studio fulfills its mission by serving as a place of production as well as place of promotion.
