Health Centre and Dental Clinic

Defence Construction Canada, ongoing

Defence Construction Canada chose to erect a building to house the medical and dental services for its military clientele. Located at the Saint Jean Garrison, it has two storeys and an area of 7,000 m². Its austere, clean exterior and its structured, restrained interior reflect the military vocation of the site and the building. A double-height lobby makes it easier for users to orient themselves. Since medical and dental care is also provided to recruits who arrive in platoons, interior spaces have expansive waiting areas and generous circulation areas. The building was designed with sustainable development in mind targeting LEED silver certification. Partner architects: Architecture 49.
